On the Paperwhite, I go to the storefront and touch Menu. There's a list of choices and what looks like a scroll down bar -- where I suspect "My Wish List" is .... but I can't figure out how to scroll down further. When I touch the scroll down bar the Menu disappears. Any advice is appreciated!

slide from the bottom up on the menu to get it to "scroll". At least that's what works for me :)

Thanks. I got it to work that way (from the bottom up) on the 4th try...LoL...What I discovered is the finger has to scroll up in the middle of the menu pull down tab, not by trying to touch the dark scroll bar. This flaw could have been made easier, or at least explained by Amazon somewhere....

It is a bit tricky. Took me a while to find it and I still have a problem scrolling that menu.

I agree. I can rarely get it to work and have to get to my wish list by adding something to it so that I get the "view wishlist" option. They should move the wish list link up near the top of the menu so it's readily accessible when you first display the menu. Hey, Amazon, I generally buy Kindle content from my wish list. If you want me to make late night or impulse purchases, you need to make my wish list easier to access.

Like Chris said, put your finger in the middle of the menu, not on the scroll bar on the right.

Yes. They don't make it easy

I agree this scroll feature is a real hassle. Even now knowing I have to scroll from bottom up in the middle of a menu, I find it very difficult to do. Besides getting to my wishlist, the other time I have a problem is in the GoTo menu when I want to get to a later chapter near the end of a long book.

I wish Amazon would move the wishlist higher on the store menu. I'd love to see it right after Storefront. I have 70 titles in my wishlist. Amazon is just making it harder for me to purchase them!

I had trouble with that too, so I just made a collection called Wish List and now download samples into it.

Does anyone know if the Wish List is only stored locally on the Kindle, or is there also a copy of it held in the cloud? My reason for asking is to find out if I need to make my own copy of my wish list as a backup, just in case my Kindle breaks or is stolen etc.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 13, 2013, 3:58:18 AM PDT
Your Wish List is stored on your account, here on Amazon. It isn't stored on the Kindle. As long as you have access to your account, you can access the wish list. Your Kindle being lost or broken has nothing to do with that.

That's great - I can stop worrying about losing the list! Thanks very much for your reply.

Wow. They basically HIDE our wishlists. Lovely. No reason to put
our top next purchases where we can find them. No sir! /sarcasm

Nope. Wait. This doesn't work for a regular Kindle. *sigh*

For regular Kindle, you go to the Kindle storefront, then press Menu.

Miss Carol says:
To scroll, put 2 fingers in the MIDDLE of the menu box and push up.

M. Patterson says:
I've had pretty consistent results with the scrolling menus by starting the "scroll" motion before actually making contact with the other words, my finger's in motion as it touches, so it isn't interpreted as selecting whatever item on the list it first contacts. (I will have to try Miss Carol's two-fingered scroll, that sounds promising, especially if contact's on two of the list items at once.)

That "scroll bar" is just a visual cue to indicate that there's more in the list than will fit on the current page, you *have* to touch inside the menu items themselves.

I had to go try it to see. In five years I've ordered one book off my Kindle and that was just to see how it worked. I've ordered all my other books at my computer.
