Hurray!! It seems like forever since there has been a good Stephen King series.. I know that there was "Haven", but I was not impressed with the quality of the acting (sorry, just my opinion!). I was fortunate enough to get the digital copy just recently for $1.99; and that really made my day. The book was really, REALLY heavy.. I had to prop it up in my lap with a pillow. This is exciting news and thank you for the update.

I thought it was long winded in spots, but overall I liked better than some of the others.

The Blade says:
I agree. Not bad, but could have easily been a couple of hundred pages shorter. I love a long involved book, but UtD seemed padded in places.

Oh, I totally forgot about that series!! Loved it- so creepily fascinating, and the acting was pretty good too. I wonder if Kathy Bates will be in it? Seems that if she is available, Stephen King has her make an appearance in the things that he does. I hope so, love her acting. I liked the premise of humans being similar to ants.. wondering how it will be portrayed on the screen. Yes, the book was really long, but I think it had to be in order to develop the characters in a plausible manner.
