Movies should be in the .MP4 format and does not require Adobe Flash Player. Flash videos require the flash player.

Robert - To install Flash: (You have to have a Flash compatible browser in order to install Flash. You can't install it under Silk.)

Do the following on the Fire / Fire HD itself:

Swipe down from the top > More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications.

*Install ES File Explorer: ES File Explorer File Manager

Download and install the Dolphin HD and Flash Player apk files from this link:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9d8gxh75f0747f1/83fV5m6x2c

Once both files are downloaded to your Fire, open ES File Explorer and look in the "Downloads" folder. You should see both files there.

Install Dolphin HD *first* by tapping on the icon. Then Install Flash by tapping on the icon.

*Note that the .apk file for ES File Explorer has been added to the Dropbox link. If you have any trouble with ES File Explorer from the Amazon App Store, use that.

Ed Zee says:
How do I delete ES File Explorer? Afer downing via Amazon Apps after the download appears I rec'd two apps, OfficeSuite and Personal Video. I'd like to delete/remove both, but when I tab and hold down the Apps I only get the response "Add to Favorite," No other option to remove.

Am I stuck with this? I just purchased the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 three days agao and I'm new to Tablets.
