Good morning to all.

Heaven - angels

What to recite when going up in an elevator:- Going up, Angels wings & halos, harps a speciality, leave your matches at the door, book your cloud now.

Have to share this with you all.....
Outside our kitchen door we have a feeding station for the birds. At this time of year its always noisy with all the young.
This morning we were honoured when our resident Greater Spotted Woodpecker pair brought along their little fat chick to feed....wonderful, & less than 10ft from where we are sat with the door open!

Glenda, I love that you share a part of your world with us. How wonderful to see the little ones getting used to the feeder!

Glenda, is there some background to those lines?

Some elevator things...

If you want to really bother people (I generally don't), get on the elevator, and don't turn around until your floor. Just face the back of the elevator.

When no one else was on the elevator, my kid and I would yell out, "Pinball!" and bounce off the walls...and then be completely composed when the doors opened.

I don't think I've told this story to this group. Peter Bogdanovich was talking to Alfred HItchcock. They were staying in a hotel. They get on an elevator and are having a normal conversation. A couple of other people get on, and Hitch suddenly goes into this horrific description of a bloody scene: "There was blood on the walls and..." Hitch and Bogdanovich get off the elevator, leaving the other riders with their mouths agape, and Hitch goes right back into the other conversation, with no comment.

Bogdanovich: "What was all that about the blood?"

Hitchcock: "Oh, that was just my elevator story..."

:)
