Is anyone else experiencing this? Since the new cloud collections update, I noticed my device lags greatly when I'm not connected to wifi compared to when I'm home with wifi connected, etc. This really shouldn't be a problem because I am not attempting to access things that require wifi. To even open the book I am currently reading is a hassle, The screen always gets stuck when I'm out and I have to reboot the whole device. I think the cloud collections are behaving as cloud items even though they are listed "on device" and are holding up my access to the books actually on my device because all the collections load up on my screen each and every time. I am still distraught over this update as I have over 100 collections on my device now from my previous kindles and apps, when right before the update came I had 2, Read and Unread. The device itself is markedly slower than before the update. I don't want to delete all the collections because then I won't have my books grouped by category and I won't know what I have. What really needs to happen is for the Cloud Collections to only be accessed or show when I hit "Cloud." Then I think the devices will perform as intended.

If you have wireless enabled while you are out, the device will keep looking for wireless networks. I always keep airplane mode on unless I need to download a book.
