Those are the User's Guides and dictionaries in foreign languages that are provided with the Kindle. They don't normally download to your Kindle, though. They just appear in the Archives/Cloud.

I am getting these as well. I contend that they are NOT the original "foreign dictionaries" they came with the new Kindles at time of purchase. My KK is 1 1/2 years old and the downloads are dated within the last few days. This happened about a month ago as well. It is a pain to remove each one at a time. I just complained to Kindle CS and was told to delete my complete content. Not.going.to.happen. Over 600 books and most are sorted into categories. I will lose that if I delete all content.

Is there a possibility that there has been some sort of a breach or spam attack?? I asked the CS to report it, however I doubt that they will.

Artist says:
They keep coming back because you delete them. Just ignore them and they will move off the first page of your MYK.

They are NOT downloaded to your device unless and until you download them.

CBRetriever says:
No they're not the origianl foreign dictionaries - they're the foreign dictionaries and user guides to go with updates/new kindles

so, you have three choices:

1. Keep deleting them and having tào delete them again every time Amazon's one size fits all updates come out
2. Never buy another kindle or turn on your wireless (prevents updates)
3. Ignore them - they DO NOT download to your kindle but just show up in the list of links that is your Archives/Cloud and in your Manage Your Kindle pages

BTW, if you leave them alone, the dictionaries and user guides will slowly sink into the depths of your MYK pages as they are not replaced unless there are significant changes (and that's just the user guides) or a new languange is added. My original foreign language dictionaries are down in the 20s page-wise and the Chinese/Japanese ones are around page 14
