can someone walk me through downloading the zinio app on my kindle fire? everytime i try it says that i have successfully downloaded but when i try to read my magazine it tells me to download the app.

If you have successfully downloaded the app, did you install it?? It would work until you install and register to your account. I don't have a Fire so I can't tell you how to install a app but you may have to make sure (somewhere in settings) that you have allowed third party apps to be installed.

You have to go to the Zinio site for the app.

EDIT - Here - http://ca.zinio.com/apps/index.jsp
Just choose the correct reading app - for Android

You will notice this is the Canadian site for zinio. You should be able to find the same app on the American zinio site.

I have done these steps and still cannot get the app to stay on the fire- it is almost as if i have not downloaded the app, even though it tells me I have successfully completed it.

After you download, you must ensure that it is installed correctly and then you must fill in the log in info to your account. Once that is complete, you library should populate and then you can read on line or download to your Fire and read off line.

I have the Zinio app on my Kindle Fire HD. I have no problems using it. Are you installing it correctly?

Okay now that you mention it maybe I didn't word it properly. What I meant is since sometimes the silk browser will not let you download an app from another site and will tell you it is incompatible you either have to a) downloading app to computer and using a usb cable and sideload to kindle fire HD and use file manger app to locate app and install or b) install another app store such as 1-moble, getjar, etc and then download app.

Thanks for pointing it out, too early in the morning and in my mind I knew what I was saying just didn't elaborate it properly.

Just Peachy says:
What type of problem are you having?

Can you download other things to your Fire without problems?
