If they're registered to the same account, both Kindles will have access to all books.

if you've registered it to the same account, all your books will be available to download to your new kindle from the kindle's archives/cloud after a Wi-Fi connection is made and sync and check for new items is selected from the menu

all you'll need to do is select them one by one and download them

So does it matter if I have the kindle with the keyboard and I buy the Kindle Fire? Will it be pretty simple because I have a lot of books they will show up on the new one and I just redownload them I won't have to repurchase as long as it is registers under the same name?

CBRetriever says:
absolutely - that's one of the beauties of having multiple kindles registered to the same account

one thing that you do need to be aware of is that since you will have a mix of e-ink and android devices, is that your e-ink kindle will always be the default kindle.

The e-ink is the old one or the kindle Fire

CBRetriever says:
e-ink = kindle keyboard
android = kindle fire
