N00bie alert!

I'm new to Kindle and I'm trying it out on my PC as a way to decide if I should buy an actual Kindle.

Can I read a Kindle book on more than one device, for instance on a laptop or on a real Kindle reader in addition to my PC?

N00b question, I admit. But I am, indeed, a Kindle n00bie.

yes you can, just send to the device you want to read it on from your archives

Yes, you can. Just be sure to keep them synced up.

I wouldn't sync them. As squiggly said, after you purchase an ebook you can choose which Kindle PC you can send it to at any time- check your Kindle purchase history for the book and pick which one you want to send it too. Kindle PC also has the added value of storing ebooks that Amazon no longer carries on your hard drive. :)

Sync them so that one can keep up on the last page read if one wanted to read between different devices.

does the same apply to the free kindle app that u can download on a PC i.e. can I download the ap on a different PC in future and still see all my books?

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 26, 2013, 6:09:19 PM PST
@Princess: Yes, as long as the app is registered to the same account as the books are on.
