Finally bit the bullet last night and pre-ordered the HDX 8.9 32Gig, but found out at checkout that estimated arrival is now November 25th. The only units still shipping for the Nov. 7th release is the 64Gig.

So this is my question- should I cancel and hope for a great Cyber Monday deal? I had wanted it for a trip mid November, so unless they are being extra cautious with the dates, getting it later wouldn't matter.

A lot of people have had pre-orders in since it was announced, so theirs will more than likely get sent out first.

It's not going to be a cyber Monday deal. One of the older generations may be a deal, but the current, brand new Kindles, are never part of the deal.

The Fires were announced on September 24 -- so all the people who ordered it in the last month and 6 days are ahead of you in line for delivery. If you cancel, you'll just have to wait again when you reorder it.

OK, thanks. I may end up going with the 64Gig to get it sooner, but don't know if I will ever need that much space.
