Very Good Open Wendy...
You put so much thought and prep into your opens..
I just throw something together off the top of my head..

Thanks for opening the thread for us Wendy. You just can't ever go wrong with chocolate!

Thank you Sandy and Kathy. I was working on this thread right up till an hour ago which is not ever the way I do things.

I have had a terrible craving for chocolate lately with none in the house. Last night I sent Jonathan out to get me some candy bars. LOL

I think candy bars are necessary in everyone's diet now and then. What kind of candy bars did Jonathon get?

LOL.... I had him get me 2 Mounds bars and some Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. I've now eaten both Mounds bars, and tomorrow I will start in on the Reece's.

I love Mounds bars and Baby Ruth.

What a wonderful start - all that chocolate - and all those fabulous quotes !
You are the best - was a new car used to get candy for you ? I don't seem to remember whether a new one has been acquired or not - but then again there are masses of things I don't remember.
All or nothing day .....uuuuhhm don't think that going to work as usual counts here ! but at least it is the last day without my colleague - she will be back on Monday yeah.
I am not really the daredevil type so will have to r-e-a-l-l-y think about what it could be with something new, seeking an adventure, but I will certainly give this day all I've got.
Thanks ♥

I keep a stash just in case I need it..
Right now I have Heath bars, snickers, m&m's and See's choc fudge easter egg..
I should probably eat that egg..

I love Baby Ruth too Kathy. I wish I had thought to have him get me one!

It is so nice having you back - I am hoping that since you are still posting, and it is late for you, that it is a sign that you are feeling better and not needing to go to bed so early.

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 25, 2013, 10:44:29 PM PDT
I think it's definitely time to eat the egg....

I'm hoping so too Red. I actually did lie down at about 7 and read for a while. I just got up to get a drink of water and decided to check in here and I'm so glad I did.

I am not controlled enough to have a stash - if it is in my house - I EAT IT

redandwhite, no new car. I can't drive and haven't been able to for a while now. I realized right away that it made no sense to replace a car that I can't drive anyway. Rick has a car that will suffice for the both of us. I have to say though, it did give me a bit of hope having my car sitting there waiting for me. I feel like I've lost even more of my independence so I've taken the loss of the car pretty hard.

Jonathan, my middle son who just graduated from college was the one using my car and now he is going to buy his own car. He's looking for a used Honda Accord.

I have that condition too redandwhite. I've never managed to keep a stash of anything edible.

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 25, 2013, 10:49:29 PM PDT
I need to hide my stash! ;-)

I definitely think that you should consider making this a new routine, coupled with chocolate as well of course :-)

Good night Kathy.... Have good dreams.

Sandy, how is your ankle feeling? Are you seeing any progress yet?

Isn't it funny folks attitude to cars - my ex loves them and thinks he was born with 4 wheels instead of two legs, and passed that on to DD, whereas I am so pleased that I now do not have one, no expenses and worries and I have a bike, public transport, taxis and friends.
My ex recently obtained a really cheap old car for DS, he only got his licence a couple of years ago, since he didn't really want to drive or have a car, but we said it was a skill he should have and once you have it you need to keep your hand in, which is why my ex got the car for him, but it spends most of its time in the parking lot LOL but is useful for doing long trips with me and/or his friends.

Hope that the right Honda Accord turns up for Jonathan - when the time is right.
