William have you read this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/forum/content/db-guidelines.html/ref=cm_cd_f_h_help

Do you think "Your just a bully nothing more. " would fall under ?

What shouldn't I post?
Messages that abuse, denigrate or threaten others

Not only there - it's also just above that in the "technical details" (why wouldn't people look there?) and a few sections above that again, under the heading "Beautifully simple".

Apparently 3 times on the one page isn't making it easy enough, though!

Rubbish! If JES's post "humiliated the OP" it was only because the OP hadn't bothered to do even the most basic read of freely-available info. I'd say any humiliation was self-inflicted, not caused by JES.

We all ask the obvious at times. We don't all then try to defend our question by saying it wasn't obvious at all.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out to folks that the information they are searching for is right in front of them. Everyone could probably benefit from slowing down and researching more before asking questions. That's not humiliating someone or being a bully. Perhaps you should utilize a dictionary to look up the definitions of those words.

I know I have looked right at something, and not seen it. It happens.

Actually, the bluetooth information is NOT in the "Compare Kindles" section as one reply states. It is not under the "audio" heading as well. It is in "Technical details" "Additional Features" " . . . built-in Bluetooth . . . " for the Kindle HD 8.9., HDX 8.9, HD 7 and HDX 7.
Kindle Fire HD 8.9", 8.9" HD display, 16 GB or 32 GB, Wi-Fi or Optional 4G LTE Wireless (Previous Generation - 2nd)

In reply to an earlier post on Oct 16, 2013 12:06:14 AM PDT
Absolutely. And when it does, one of the most helpful responses from others isn't simply to tell you whatever you didn't see, but also to tell you where you need to look, so you'll remember it's definitely there next time, right? :-)

In reply to an earlier post on Oct 16, 2013 12:14:10 AM PDT
Perhaps. But it's pretty irritating to have people come along and say the information "isn't easy to find" when it's in the technical details on every Fire's product page. Where else would you think is the obvious place to look? And isn't it also obvious that if you want to know something about a product, you should read the product information?

"The information is on the product page. I don't see how amazon could make it easier. "

It could be easier if Amazon didn't use existing product names to replace last year's products of a different name and then other existing product names to replace the product which was used to rename last year's product. Understand? The problem is compounded by countless sellers online taking advantage of the confusion to willfully misrepresent their goods. As someone who's been researching this for hours, I can attest to the fact that there is much conflicting info out there.

Then you're searching wrong. Here's the 15 second method to confirm the existence of bluetooth in a Fire:

1. Got to the current Kindle Fire HD product page.
2. Press Ctrl+F to pull up a search box for the page.
3. Type "Bluetooth" in the search box.
4. Rejoice in instantly finding the reference to bluetooth on the page. Bam.

You do have to scroll down past 22 screens of information on the Kindle Fire HD 7", HD Display, Wi-Fi, 8 GB product page before the word Bluetooth is mentioned. I'm not surprised people have questions about it.
