Maree, if you pop over to the Australian/Kiwi thread, people there might give you helpful information about accessing kindle books.

Yes, often it wouldn't come up in a search if there's no kindle edition available in Australia. My search showed PB, HB and Audible editions available to us.

And I agree on the dates thing - mostly the US gets them first, but occasionally we get a new release before they do :-)

Sorry - I should have acknowledged the info/link even though it's problematic for us :-/
