From the bookmarks screen, press the line you want to delete and HOLD -- a menu will appear. The last item will be DELETE.

Thanks Larry. They might have thought to put something like that into the manual, but I sure could not find it.

I'be had the same problem...history keeps reappearing after I've deleted it - multiple times! I contacted customer service and they said that shouldn't be happening. They tried to help me reset my Kindle Fire but it didn't work....HELP!!!!!

I am also seeing the same issue. When I try to delete the ESPN bookmarks, it reappears. The next day.

Thanks for the instruction on how to delete a bookmark that is on the "bookmark" list in Amazon's Kindle Fire. I deleted a double Amazon.com website and what you had suggested worked.

Go to settings >more >Applications
Where it says "running applications" hit the drop down menu and bring up
All Applications
Open "Browser"
In "Storage" click the "All clear" radio button

That shoul do it. Go back to the home page and click "Web" to check.
