Most tablets give you at least 6-8 hours. It will depend on what you are doing.

If you are concerned you won't get good battery life, wait until after release, when there will be reviews (usually more accurate than the numbers given on the product page). All reviewers test battery life.

Typically, larget tablets get less battery life than smaller ones, so if the 7" KFHD gets 11 hours, you can expect the 8.9" to get less.

Why expect the battery life to be less, the battery itself will be significantly larger on the full sized tablet. The smaller the device, the smaller the battery that can fit in the case.

Because larger screens use proportionally more power, and the screen is the #1 battery drainer unless you are using something extremely processor-intensive. Just because the battery is physically bigger doesn't mean that it provides more Watt-hours in proportion to the screen.

It is not worth arguing over people. Right now it is all a guess.

While teaching my mom, with constant use of Internet, video, and apps we went from 100. To 68 percent in about 3 hours. So that ought to equal 10 hours, I figure.
