I know this subject has been covered many times in this forum but any of the solutions proposed didn't work for me.

I just got a Kindle Paperwhite wifi.
- The system is up-to-date 5.3.0
- I have a paid Prime membership
- my kindle is linked to my prime account, when i go on a computer on the amazon website i can manage my kindle content
- i live in the US

I've tried to:
Click on Shop kindle store
Click on books
Click on all kindle ebooks (there is nothing such as all categories)
And then i cant see/find the Kindle lending library

Any help will be greatly appreciated

PeepDittie says:
Don't click on Books. You're looking for See All Categories on the wrong level if you do that. Just go to Kindle Store>See All Categories>KOLL.

Thanks for your answer but i cannot find the "see all categories" link on the page you mention. It doesn't show on the page nor the menu.

Quick update:
On my computer i went on the kindle management page, went to country settings and changed it from "France" to "US".
I created my amazon account a long time ago when i was living in France.
but i moved to the US 3 years ago and got my Prime membership in the US.
Everything has been changed to take into consideration this situation.

Yet i've tried restarting my kindle and i still cant access the koll

Mine has only ever been in the US so I can't help you with that part, if it's about that. I would contact Kindle customer service. Click the blue Help link at the top of this page, then the yellow Contact Us button.

Are you looking on your computer or on the Paperwhite itself? If so, Dittiefurby's instructions are correct. to search from your computer, try this link

Remember that ,while you can search on your computer, you can only borrow from the Kindle itself: shopping cart icon/ All Categories (upper right)/Kindle Owners's Lending Library

Thank you both for your answer.
I am looking on the kindle.

I only used the computer to check the kindle content and some settings
I think i just have to contact the customer support the

When you touch the shopping cart icon, what do you see at the top? I see "Browse" on the left and "All Categories" on the right. When I touch All Categories, a list opens, and Kindle Owners Lending Library is the last on the list. Touch that and you will see the various categories to browse.

If you don't see what I see, you should call CS.

Problem solved:

After some time spent with Customer Support the answer to the problem has been to do a factory reset (Home > Menu > Settings > Reset Device)

Then when I clicked on Home > Menu > Shop in Kindle Store, I could finally see the "All categories" and even many more options that were not visible previously.

Thank you all for your help

I have a new Kindle Fire HD 7", and cant find the Kindle Online Lenders Library following any of the above. I am currently traveling outside the US and did change my country setting because Amazon didnt let me "buy" the free books with those settings. Tried resetting the country setting back to US - does not work and for some strange reason I am unable to reach Customer Support online.

Could someone please provide some suggestions?

@Sebastian - If you're outside the U.S. you may not have access to the KOLL.

For those having this issue, after much fiddling, I managed to get it working by changing the device language to "English (US)" (previously I had it set to UK English) - after the required restart, the store reloaded complete with the 'All Categories' menu.

Wow. That's good info. Did you happen on that incidentally yourself, or was it suggested to you?

The forum regulars find that users on the ground are usually much more familiar with the workings of the devices that Support is, and very often have answers to frustrating questions weeks, if not months, before Support will ever add it to their troubleshooting.

I'm thinking it could be wise to let the customer know if it is going to work or not depending on your home country. I live in Sweden and none of the above mentioned tips helped me to find the all categories link. I now give up, a bit annoyed that I apparently live in the wrong country for a Prime memborship.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 10, 2014, 8:54:52 AM PST
Prime comes with *one* borrow per month from a *limited* (read: NOT the Big Five publishers) list. It's HARDLY worth joining Prime for that. Did you understand what you were signing up for?

let the customer know if it is going to work or not depending on your home country.
I think this is letting people know
