Try your library's website. You should be able to check out many kindle books from there for free, and they will link you to the amazon site.

it's still available. Read any of the many discussions about it, or contact customer service if you can't figure it out on your own.

No. You are wrong. There are many threads about this already.

Anyone stout enough to try to count how many?

Kindle Owner's lending library is still there. You are getting them confused. Kindle Unlimited has all of the Kindle Owner's Library books plus many more. Remember, you must be on the Kindle to borrow from the Owner's Lending Library (and only one a month).

Before you start complaining, get your facts straight. There are many threads in the last week that have explained many times that KOLL still exists. Prime members can still borrow their one book per month.

Kindle Unlimited for $9.99 is a totally different program. Many of the KOLL books are available under the Kindle Unlimited program as well.

I would do a search using the search box on the right for the KOLL books and I'm sure you will find the various threads explaining, step by step how to find your KOLL books. Be sure to uncheck "Search only this discussion"

The line about "obsolete" makes me want to have someone plant a bomb in my apartment while a government official goads me about having books.

You've never been able to borrow via the iPad or website

It is called the Kindle Owner's Lending Library for a reason.... only for Kindle owner's and only available to be borrowed and read on a kindle device.

No. For KU you can borrow for your iStuff or Android stuff.

For KOLL that MUST be borrowed from a Kindle or a Fire or, I suppose that Fire cell thing.

If you borrow from a Kindle Fire, get to the store through Books. Do not use the browser.

Sarida says:
I borrow from KOLL from my Kindle Touch.

I order the Kindle First book from my PC.
