Someone mentioned the other day that you can now lend Kindle books and I need help figuring out how to do so. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can lend books once, for 14 days, if the publisher has enabled lending. To lend a book, go to https://amazon.com/myk and click the 'Actions...' link to the right of the title. One of the options there will be to lend the book. Click that and enter the recipient's regular email address. You can also lend from a book's product page. At the top of the page it will tell you that you purchased the book, and there will be a link to loan it.

Thanks Ann! If I am looking for a particular book to "loan" is there a way to search for someone willing to loan it?

You mean you want to borrow a book? You might try your public library. Info is here - http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_200527380_library?&nodeId=200747550. There are also some 3rd-party lending sites, but I've not used them and don't know how they work. lendle.me is one I've seen mentioned around here.

go to lendle.me. people can register their books there, and then you can search and see if anyone is willing to lend with you.

I tried going to lendle.me and it just keeps saying "Internal error". Am I doing something wrong or is everyone seeing this message?
