I heard on a podcast that there is a place in the Amazon website where you can see all your highlights and notes for all your books that you have highlighted. I looked, but could not find it. Anyone know where that might be.

https://kindle.amazon.com. Only works for your amazon-delivered content, though.

The link is still working but I can't view my highlights per book anymore... Anyone any idea what changed/why?

Biiti - I still see mine by book. Has your device been syncing? Is it set to backup annotations? Which device do you use?

Tim Stoch says:
When I click on the link "Your Highlights," it shows the most recent highlights I did. However, when I click on "Your Books" and then click on a specific book, it does NOT show the highlights I made for the specific book.
This is too bad, because sometimes I want to return to some highlights I made a while back. But the only highlights I am able to look at are the most recent ones that I can find in "Your Highlights".

Has Amazon changed this service?

There has been a change to that site.
I am no longer seeing locations for my highlights

Did you click on "You have xx highlight passages You have xx notes"?

Tim Stoch says:
Ah! That is what they changed. Before I immediately saw the highlights. But I have to click on "You have X highlighted passages". Thanks

Where's the link to "Your Highlights"? I don't even see that.

Amazon makes it very unclear. You have to go to https://kindle.amazon.com.
Even then it doesn't have all of my highlights, perhaps just the ones from books I've downloaded off Amazon. Poor design work, guys.

It may be unclear that this is the case, but this is a deliberate decision, not poor design work.

Mac McCarthy says:
Interesting that Amazon as a 'deliberate decision' chooses to make its Kindle info hard to find from its Amazon.com site. You won't find https://kindle.amazon.com information on the main Amazon pages - nor, worse, will you find anything on those pages referenced in Amazon or Kindle Help.

As mentioned above, the highlights are on the https://kindle.amazon.com page -- but you won't find that out from Amazon.com, or from Amazon.com's Devices page, where your books are listed. Clicking Help won't help you either. Only by Google searching will you find the answer on *this* discussion page -- Amazon's own info on this is hidden from Google searching.

If that is a deliberate decision, it is almost by definition a poor design decision.

It is amazing how much trouble it can be to find things on Amazon.com - which is otherwise terrific at so many things.

I wasn't talking about the fact that it is hard to find. I was referring to the fact that it only contains the highlights of books you downloaded from Amazon.

Oh, sorry.
