There is none.

Look at the date. When the question was asked, the answer was correct.

my question is does it still stand true, these years later, is there a wireless keyboard (other than the Amazon Basics wireless Keyboard) that works with the Kindle Fire HD? are you suggesting that starting a new thread is more appropriate than asking freshly on on old thread?

i don't know why, and this is by far not an isolated case, people respond with non responsive answers. it does not clarify to say you don't know. only people who know yea or nea possess usefull info.

King Al says:
Yes, it is. When the question was originally asked, the HD had not been released yet. The original Fire does not support Bluetooth, so NO keyboard will work with it.

King Al says:
Nobody gave a nonresponsive answer. The "There is none" answer was correct at the time it was written.

It's always better to start a new discussion than to post to a zombie thread with old outdated info.

As a beginner in Kindle Fire lore, tell me some basics like how does one use the Fire? Do you have to have a separate internet connection other than the one you presently have? What does the Fire do that is different from your small laptop, if you have one? If I was in a coffee shop that has the Internet, what do I have to do with my Fire to light up communication with someone using a smart phone?

When a previous thread is that old, yes. As far as I can tell, the one you found is the only external keyboard that will work on the HD.

Ray - I'd suggest you click here and read up on the devices:

You don't use a Fire "to light up communication with someone using a smart phone" since it's not a phone. You could email the person who has a smartphone.
