Yes, download the Kindle iPad app and log in with your existing account info. The books will be under the cloud tab for download to your device.

I want to give one of my kindle´s (paperwhite) to my daughter but she is going to re register it under her name, it is possible to do it without losing the actual books already storaged on it?

Not legally. It is a violation of the TOS you agreed to when you bought the books to give away or sell them.

M. Francis, is that true even if the recipient is a member of your household?

If the device is going to be registered to a different account, then technically yes, it is. Is anything likely to happen if you do it? No, it isn't.

If the recipient is a member of your household, and you both like the same kinds of books, why not just leave it registered to your account? Then you can both read all the books on the account. The other person can give you money or gift cards to pay for book purchases, or if they have an Amazon account already, they can buy books as gifts for your account.

My sister's Kindles are registered to my account. We both buy gift cards to apply to the account, and we both have access to all the books on the account. It works very well.
