Reconditioned Kindles from Amazon come with the same 1-year warranty new Kindles come with.

i've bought 2, and both are great. (bought one, loved it, so bought another one 15 months later.)

both of my kindle fire HD's (2012) are refurbished/reconditioned.
both came looking and working just as well as all of my new one's have and are still going strong.

Yes, two of them. The price was the only thing distinguishing them from new Fires.

If you're considering one, I recommend buying a Certified Refurbished Kindle from Amazon, as it will come with the same 30 day return and one year warranty as a new Kindle. I'd stay away from 3rd-parties selling "reconditioned" units with no warranty.

What can I do about my KindleFire that just popped open?

Posted on Sep 6, 2014, 7:09:33 AM PDT
Is there a place to repair them?

In reply to an earlier post on Sep 6, 2014, 7:15:13 AM PDT
♥ Ann says:
If your Fire popped open, your battery may have expanded. Contact customer support. Click the "Help" link at the top of any Amazon page, then "Need More Help?", then "Contact Us" - or use this link: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us/

Don't use or plug in the Fire.
