where do i go to read my amazon email. i was suppose to receive a copy of book to rate but dont know how to find the email. thanks in advance

Your Amazon email address is a way to send an ebook file (personal document) to your Kindle, it is not an email address you can read or access or send messages from.
And it will only accept incoming emails from email addresses you have pre-approved.

thank you. i have a writer who is sending a copy of his book to my amazon email. i gave him my amazon email. but i do not know how to get into my email. i do not know where to go to even read it. this is the first time i will be receiving anything and have never sent anything to my amazon email.

They need to send it to your regular e-mail. Your amazon email is for conversions and is not available for just anyone to send what they want. All non-approved e-mail address will get bounced back.

You can't read email from the Amazon account. It is only for sending a personal document to be converted into a Kindle book.

If you go to the Manage Your Kindle page (under "my account" at the top of this page) you should find an area that lets you add email addresses of who can send books to your Kindle. Look for "personal document settings"
