Sign in issues with apps on Kindle Fire HDX

Both my husband and I are unable to use apps anymore that we previously were enjoying without any trouble (My Singing Monsters and Pinterest). We are sent to the sign in page and after entering our user name and password it will tell us that they are incorrect.

We never had to sign in every time before. Once we set up the app it automatically kept the sign in info on the Kindle. This problem has started recently in the past 2 weeks.

We both are also getting kicked out of apps and taken to different apps suddenly.

Anyone having similar issues?

Is this on one Kindle, or two? First thing to try, any time a Kindle is acting up, is a hard reboot. With the device fully charged, hold down the power button for a full 30 seconds, ignoring any shutdown prompts. Allow the device to reboot, you may need to press the power button once at this point on some models to restart. Then see if the issue continues, also, try rebooting your WiFi router, unplug it and let is sit for a couple of minutes and restart it.

Thank you for replying. We have done several reboots and uninstalled/reinstalled the apps as well. My Singing Monsters game app now works. Pinterest is still a no go, but that is okay.

Kicking us out of games is still an issue so I will try rebooting our router.
