Steve says:
Are there a lot of books available for children- I am particularly interested in books for 4th graders?

Laura says:
my about to be 5th grader has a Kindle and we find plenty of books for her. If you look in the ebooks there is a section for childrens books and then there is a subsection for 9-12 year olds. You can also search books that your child likes to see if they are available. We've had no trouble finding books.

My daughter, who had her first day of 4th grade today, is currently reading on (my!) Kindle. We've never had any trouble finding books for her.

Here are some my son loved when he was in 4th grade last year:

Babe & Me (Baseball Card Adventures) and all the Baseball Card Adventures.
The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1)
The Emerald Atlas (Books of Beginning)

I've also downloaded many free books, such as Call of the Wild and Tom Sawyer. Just about any book he heard of at school or saw in a bookstore was available for Kindle.

and the reason for resurecting a post from 3 years ago is????

I doubt the person is still looking for a 4th grader, and I can suspect that you, the author of the book, are not following the TOS set by Amazon for this forum prohibiting self promotion of material. Take your hawking to the Meet Our Authors forum and announce your book there.

Delete your post -- it will be reported to Amazon and will annoy many causing them to add you to a NEVER buy from list.
