Poughkeepsie

It is truly the mark of a good writer when they can take a great story and turn it into an amazing book. Debra has a true gift in the way she weaves these individual stories together and brings her characters to life. A beautiful, gorgeous story of love and redemption.

Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia - Poughkeepsie - a gutsy story of a homeless man and the girl that smiles at him every day, the families that made them who they are and the obstacles they face as their relationship jeopardizes both their lives. quirky, gritty, complex characters and moral shades of gray instead of a predictable good vs bad and right vs wrong. this book gets under your skin and stays there.

If you enjoy a good page turner you might enjoy author E. Deloryce Dunlop's debut novel, The Law of Jealousy. It is the story of a minister's wife struggling to end her abusive marriage when she meets and falls in love with another man.

Check it out.

Have you ever read Middlemarch by George Eliot? I really liked it, and highly recommend it. It took a while to read but was worth it.
