I'm specifically looking for songs that deal with the hypocrisy and corruption perpetrated by "Organized Religion". Mostly stuff from the 70's and 80's and in the following genres: Classic/Trad, Power, NWOBHM, Progressive, and Speed/Thrash. Let me know what you can come up with. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The song 'Hypnotized' from American Thrash metal band Heathen comes to mind with a poignant message regarding religion and the controlling forces behind it. The lyrics encourage the masses to open their minds and not accept religious rhetoric without questioning it. Brilliant music, brilliant lyrics and I'm in total agreement with the message the band are portraying here.

It might be easier to list the albums that didn't reference that theme.

Oops I missed the 70s/80s thing too. The Sabbath track is from '92 and with the exception of it and the Megadeth, the rest are last 15 years. Gonna have to think of more.
