This live version of "It's only Rock n Roll" by the Rolling Stones is so much better than the original studio version. It was recorded at the Glasonbury Festival in 2013 and the Stones are better than ever (..at least when they play their old classics...). The rest of the set is also excellent:

On a sad note, the lovely singer turned actress Marcia Strassman (Mrs. Kotter from "Welcome Back Kotter") just died from a long battle with breast cancer.

She was only 66. You may not know it but she did have a song she recorded back in the late sixties.

"The Flower Children"

It was on one of Rhino Records "Summer of Love" collections. She, to me, represented the beautiful seventies modern woman.

She will be missed.

Yes, Rykre - I agree: Land of Confusion is one of the best music videos ever made - I love the ending where Ronald Reagan accidentally presses the NUKE button instead of the NURSE button - great stuff.

The Doors: The End - live

They stray away from The End and into Roadhouse Blues.
Unfortunately the sound is really bad, but the performance is very interesting.

I think Joan Jett's cover of Iggy Pop's >>Real Wild Child<< is better than the original:
