(Slightly off topic)

A friend of mine was talking to Paul (Bostaph - Exodus,Testament), & suggested, "You could just consolidate the bands, & call it "Excrement!"

W.H. says:
Hole toured with Marilyn Manson in the late 1990s. It was called "The Man/Hole" Tour."

The two bands got together so badly that they cut the tour short and VH1 aired a special about what a disaster it had been. They interviewed Love and Manson, who just could not complain enough about each other.

The high (or low?) point of the show was when Courtney Love complained with the utmost indignation about Manson and his band using drugs and being a bad influence on Hole's audience (young girls in particular). I laughed out loud--can you imagine having Courtney Love complain about your drug use?

Pot, meet kettle.

Love and Manson are both ridiculous people but for some reason I liked them both. Time hasn't been kind to either one of them but my fond feelings endure--I find their absurdity oddly endearing.
