What ? By reading your comments I would not have guessed you were in any shape or form, a Responsible journalist. Did you check facts as a responsible journalist or did you get your info from a source of a source. Why would you post these types of comments as a responsible journalist.

You're a journalist gosh darnet ! Do your bleeping job !

Your "opinion" is based on eh, what ?
You wrote "I do not believe for one minute that the media was trying to distort the facts and purposing trying to hang anyone." Which says to me you believe the media. As a "responsible journalist" I would think you wouldn't just take their word for it.

Their are so many books and vids that shed a different light and holds more water than speculators speculating spectacles

If the media wanted to apologized, and make amends to Michael Jackson for their false accusations, or anything else for that matter, it wouldn't do any good now because he's dead. It's too late! The damage have already been done. The media had ample enough time to express their atonement to him while he was still alive.

Actually their is a book called Michael jackson Conspiracy (I Think) where the author went into examining the trial thinking mike was guilty but after "Research" (Remember that word) she found out that it was some underhanded stuff going on. Then she wanted to promote her findings to some news outlet when she was told they didn't want any pro Jackson storys

Also there is something on youtube called "Inside the trial of mj" with the accuser and family praising mike.

Here's the thing, I am objective. If I have an interest in something I tend to Research so I know whats going on and see what adds up. You know ... something like what a responsible journalist would do

You said "I think said entertainer had some serious mental problems."
"I certainly would never trust them with my children. " To me it seems not objective

Who am I to say he had "extreme psychological problems" when I think about his charity, or when I hear the things people who knew him said or the fact he was apparently a good father or listening to his lecture in oxford university . Sure i can talk about plastic surgery or relationship w/ his pops, but I won't wrap up the whole story in a negative way when each human is much deeper than a eye catching news headline

I'd like to know what is meant by "another apology" ?

Truly you can't believe all this crap.
I am shaking my head at some posters that think the National Inquirer was true. The media has a bad habit of twisting the facts and MJ seemed to be the major subject of their adoration. Jumping on the bandwagon with unsubstantiated claims and either self righteousness or macho peer pressure helped to get the media masses flailing.
Now the question asked on this thread? Considering what has been printed, said on TV and posted on websites as of late. "I do think they have some 'splaining to do Lucy." I think some respect to the man as a human needs to happen. His fame did have a price but the media cruelly crucified him as a human, not for being an entertainer.
As far as fans ( for any icon), I am a bit peeved at the generality of your comments, lumping all Mj fans as obsessed lunatics? I think not. I base my opinions on researched facts not 'what Doris's sister says or read.'
Your starting this thread to bait any fans is evil. Get a life.

The very next day after MJ died, Kmart had a sale in his honor...

They had Boys pants half off...
