I am wanting to read about the McGregor family series. I was wonder in which order would be best. I began by reading about Daniel and Anna, and that seems to have been the last book. All the children are already married.

Ms. Ericka says:
I read the McGregor Series like this:
Serena/Caine (Playing the Odds/Tempting fate)
Alan/Grant (All The possibilities/One Man's Art)
Daniel/Ian (for Now, forever/In from the cold)
The Mcgregor Brides/The Mcgregor Grooms - not sure which i read first.. i read them quite awhile ago.
The Winning Hand
The Perfect Neighbor

I'm not sure if that is right, but it seemed to flow pretty well when i read them. Hope that helps you.

Here is a really great website that provides all the books that an author has written, grouped by series, and in chronological order. I'm giving you the link for Nora Roberts, but you can put any author's name in the box in the upper right corner of the screen to get search results. Just scroll down and look for the MacGregor heading to find all the books in the series.

I always look at the family tree in the front of one of the books and go by the release dates. That keeps them in order.

There are 2 historicals that feature the ancestors of the contemporary McGregors. They are great! Sorry I don't remember the titles, though. One is set in Scotland and the other in America. You don't have to read these first, but they are nice additions to read.

I am pretty sure this was when Nora's deal with Harlequin/Silhouette became an issue, and these books were never released. They might be written, or even were in the works, but I am an avid Nora fan and have been for years and have never seen them in any of the reprinted anthologies or listed anywhere else.

I'd love to know if anyone else finds them. Another great source of Nora's books is:

"Rebellion" is the name of the book set in Scotland and is the story of Serena and Brigham. The story centers on the ancestors of the MacGregor family that came from Scotland to America. Forewarning - in the very beginning of the book there is a rape scene (Serena's mother). With that being said, it is my favorite book in the series. "Daniel/Ian" is the name of the book set in America. Daniel is the patriarch of the family in the series. Ian's story dates back the beginnings of the American Revolution and is more of a novella than full length book, but a great read nonetheless. Hope this helps.
