i read a 3 book series about triplets who were separated at birth by their sith (fae) father who took them from their human mother. they were born on samhain and lived in the scotland/ireland area in the time of knights and lords. one son was a seer, one was a healer, and the 3rd was another paranormal type. they all suffered after using their talent and their pain was relieved by sex. i cannot remember the names of the books or the author. if anyone knows, please advise . . . . . . . . . i have about 600 read books and the search would be nearly impossible. searching for sith, fae, samhain, triplets, all unsuccessful. thanks for any info.

they were very good!! sad, happy, all the bells and whistles, revenge, betrayal, guilt, sex, love, annoying, intrigueing, mysterious. this is why i am trying to remember what the books or the author are. i rarely reread since i got my kindle. soooooo many books to read, but i would like to read these again.

I can't recall this series your looking for. If it were females this comes close: Witchling (Sisters of the Moon, Book 1). Three sisters, one a mage, one a vampire, one shifts into a kitty-cat -- Their dad is fae and their mom human.

I know, close but not what you want.

I couldn't put my finger on it either and I've read a lot of fantasy/SF/paranormal/romance books. I can think of books where the main lead had a fae father. But not triplets. Was this a popular series? Do you remember the publisher? Was each of the three books focused on one brother? Or was it sisters? With the sex to boost their powers I wonder if it's one of those demon type books or erotica. ?? -- Dan's Wife

it is 3 books, each focusing on one of the brothers. the sex is actually after the "event" of using the power of the brother featured in the book to relieve the incapacitating pain that results from the seeing, the healing, or the 3rd talent which i cannot remember. i do remember the seer lives in the castle/fortress of a rich, powerful nobleman who uses the seer to manipulate the person helped into doing his bidding to obtain support, money, and gifts of virgin women. the seer becomes involved/falls in love with a woman who has searched for him a long time in order to take revenge for the murder of her family and village by one of the people he "saw" for. she ends up living at the healers farm with his longtime servants to be safe after she awakens him to what the lord guy is doing and the havoc his seeing has caused in countless innocent lives. the healer becomes involved/falls in love with a prostitute whose pimp is her "father" at a castle. the healer "surprises" her by marrying her younger sister to save the sister from the father; pretty much breaking the prostitutes heart. she swims in a pond on his farm and as i think i remember she is also somewhat fae having water fae ancestors maybe. he explains at length and she kindasorta forgives him for his . . . . lack of forsight about her hurt. the third son lives in a cave in rough seas near a village but far enough away to avoid the noise and confusion. i think maybe he can hear what all their thoughts are and cannot stand to live any closer. the 3 sons met each other with their respective ladies. the sith father came back to meet the baby of one and said he would help teach the baby about siths. he also forgave the human mother for running away from him and returning to human lands which was why he took the sons away from her. she turned out to be the woman servant of the seer in the first book. i do not remember this one as well. i may have read it during one of my illnesses. or maybe it was not quite as good as the first two which sometimes happens. i thought they were published by samhain but i looked there and did not run across anything that sounded right so it would probably have to be some other publisher, but no likely candidates occurred to me. no demons, just half sith (fae) triplets. i remember the use of sith because i had to look it up since it was the first time i heard that name. the triplets were born on samhain day and their talents started, changed, increased on samhain and they were expecting to die on samhain.

It sounds really interesting. If you ordered it on Amazon maybe you can check your order history? Maybe the time you read it vs what you ordered back then. I know that doesn't always work for some -- They let their orders sit and can't get to them for weeks if not months.

I hope someone else comes up with your inquiry! - Dan's wife

At first it sounded like a Nora Roberts, Circle something. It had 3 brothers I think, but the more I think about it I'm not sure.

But maybe this will bump it up and someone will remember!!

If you haven't found it look at Dead Is the New Black (Super Nocturne)
It is about triplet sisters and if I'm right there are three books about them.

I can't tell enough about it from the synopses - but it is the MacCarrick brothers series by Kresley Cole? I'm betting someone here has read those and can set me straight on that. I haven't forgotten about tracking these down and that's the closest I've seen based on the descriptions - but, like I said, I haven't actually read them.

Kay Sones: It is not the Circle trilogy.

You're right Sassafras it isn't the Circle Trilogy. After doing some more looking I knew it wasn't. But the books by Harper Allen are about triplet sisters. The first one is Dead is the New Black (Super Nocturne). It came out in 4/2010. Can't get it to pull up a link so I just have to list the info.

I read them and really thought they were good!!
