Self-proclaimed birther Donald Trump is now so doubtful of Mitt Romney's birthplace that he's sent a team of his own investigators to Michigan in hopes of getting to the bottom of the issue.
That's according to Trump himself, who, in an interview with NBC, warned his investigators just might uncover "one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond."

"I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they're finding," Trump said an interview that aired Friday morning.

Asked if he has assigned people specifically to search in Michigan, Trump said, "Absolutely."

Trump needs attention.

Hey you just cut and pasted Romney and Michigan in place of Obama and Hawaii.

I think the American people have the right to see Mitten's b.c.

But even though President Obama has gone way beyond anything Mitt Romney has ever been asked to do, releasing everything but his mother's amniotic fluid to document his true birthplace of Hawaii, birthers like Trump remains unconvinced. Yet The Donald has raised no questions about Romney, whose father was born in Mexico and whose birth certificate has never been seen by the public.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not a Mitt Romney birther (though I do wonder if we should start calling him Milton). But isn't it pathetic that Romney doesn't even have the political courage to keep his distance from the biggest and most offensive Obama birther of them all?

Christopher,
Re: Trump needs attention.

And what took him so long?

Susie,

I think Trump said, while he was still running or just after, that he believed Obama he just wanted to put the whole thing to rest once and for all. Then there were nearly crickets...

This can only be putting the whole thing to rest if he wants to be sure to be bi-partisan!

This morning on "This Week," ABC News' George Will called Donald Trump a "bloviating ignoramus," questioning why presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is associating with the real estate mogul, who once again falsely questioned President Obama's birthplace this week.

"I do not understand the cost benefit here," Will said on the "This Week" roundtable. "The costs are clear. The benefit - what voter is gonna vote for him (Romney) because he is seen with Donald Trump? The cost of appearing with this bloviating ignoramus is obvious it seems to me."

"Donald Trump is redundant evidence that if your net worth is high enough, your IQ can be very low and you can still intrude into American politics," Will dded. "Again, I don't understand the benefit. What is Romney seeking?"

Yes, it's former NYC mayor Rody Giuliani in drag having his "bre@sts" shamelessly violated by "Apprentice" tycoon Donald Trump.
