Did you come up with a creative, unusual or unique way to tell your partner you were preganant? How did you "tell"? What was his reaction?

This is our third pregnancy, so I had my eight year old daughter draw a picture of our family with a baby in my belly. She explained who everyone was, leaving me until last and said, "This is the baby in mommy's belly!" He looked over at me and mouthed, "You pregnant?" I just smiled and nodded and he got teary-eyed and came over to give me a smooch :) It was really cute.

It's my first and I just told him Friday. I took the test at work and then took my lunch to go to the Dr's office to confirm. I purchased a little onesie that said "Dad's Rock Star" and when I got home, I was going through my day...I have a penchant for bring home strays and trying to find homes for I said, "and...well...we have a new member of the family to be joining us soon" and he looked all put out. I turned around, held the onesie to my tummie and said, "do you think he'll look handsome in this?". He stared at my tummy, the onesie, back to my face and then back to the onesie. my DH's typical style, he said, "No sh*&! Really?" Then cuddled me for hours =c)

I don't know how, but my husband told me.
This is our first, and only child, so it's not like he saw signs from before.
And technically, I wasn't even "late" yet, especially since I was always irregular.

So, he knew before I did.
I was the one who was surprised.

My husband was home sick with the flu. I came home for lunch to check on him and took a pregnancy test, when it showed positive I went into the bedroom to tell him that I may be pregnant. Through his sickness all he could say was "that's great, but don't come near me so you don't get sick also." It wasn't the jump-up-and-down-with-excitement moment I figured we would have once we did get pregnant. Instead it was my husband trying not to vomit on me.

I just told my husband two days ago, this will be our first. We are on vacation and staying with some freinds. His wife is pregnant as well and she kept telling me oh thats a sign! But I had just taken a test 2 weeks ago and it said no, I'm irregular a lot so I figured that I was late. Well I went into to town 2 days ago to do some shopping alone and while at Wal-mart I decided to buy another test and so I wouldn't get anyones hopes up I would take it right there in the bathroom of Wal-mart. So I'm sitting on the toilette looking at the stick and I'm like man I lost this lottery too, there was 2 lines but I thought it was supposed to have a line and a plus sign, and just by chance I looked down at the box and saw that 2 lines meant pregnant, I almost fell off the toilette! So I go back to the house all composed and set down my bags of loot for him to look through, and he takes what felt like an hour to get to the box, and he looks inside and pulls out the stick and compares it to the box and starts crying and smiling and laughing and all our freinds were there to find out with us I wouldn't have done it any other way!!
