As far as I know, the only way to check on when you used promotional credit would be to look at the individual invoices in your DIGITAL ORDERS. Also, most promotional digital credits have time limitations and the only way to keep track of when they expire is to keep the emails that give that information. :(

You have to log in first, but it has a "Check your Balance Button" It says gift card balance, MP3 balance, Video, Kindle and all kinds of balances.

Does anyone know where to see the history of 'digital credits' applied to the account. Like when they were earned and when they were spent like you can for a gift card? It seems I've lost $5 but I haven't bought anything yet. I'm wondering if it expired.?

I just chatted with the custermer service and realized that there was no way we could find how much credit we have left under the "My Account" page and NO WAY for us to find the expiration day of these credits in any place! If you want to know when these credits will expire, you need to contact customer service!

WHY THE HECK ARE THEY DOING IT?!!

The only reason that makes sense is that they are hiding it on purpose. They make it so difficult to be found, and therefore users would be uncertain about the deadline and/or simply forget about it. In this way they tricked customers to use no rush shopping or other services, so they save or earn extra money. It's not good business.

Hey Amazon, if you don't want to give away these credits, just simply don't do it! Playing these tricks won't make your business look good.

Nah...at the time I wrote it, it was true. Of course, since then they added the gift card part. :)

Fantastic and thanks. I was wondering why it was always at zero. It's because I keep buying stuff. Cheers and thanks!

For amazon.co.uk MP3 balances, this is the link

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000706783

Then just click 'check your balance'

Thank you for this. I have been wondering for a long time.

I think the expiration date is for when you can enter in the code. Once you enter the code in , it should be yours forever. Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong...

Glad to hear it's still useful! I'll still never understand why there isn't a link to all one's credits in one's account info.
