I'm a huge Sabrina Jeffries fan. Her latest series The Hellions of Halstead Hall is terrific.

I also love Nicole Jordan. Very steamy, but also extraordinarily well written.

I also agree with the Elizabeth Hoyt recommendations from above, especially the first book in the Princes Triology.

I hope it's okay to do this here, but I've written three Regency romances that are all pretty steamy and people seem to like. The first is NEVER A MISTRESS, NO LONGER A MAID. It's only available on Kindle.

Her Husband's Harlot (Mayhem in Mayfair #1)

20% mystery, 30% historical romance, 50% erotica. Unusual combo, but not bad despite the horrid title.

Dear Tinkerbell
I haven't read any of them except 'Then Came You' and yes I loved this one and think it sooo qualifies.
This one I think was soo underappreciated by the 'Kleypas crowd:
'On that one alone I'll check out your recs.
Passion and Claiming the Courtesan are on my list to get.
Thanks a million

Dear She---
I recognize your name from other threads. So I know you recognize mine. Would it surprise you to know I broke my Vibrator over the weekend? I think not.
The little gem that did it is:

Dear Katariina
Read some of them, But the Thief of Shadows is new. Isn't this the series with the 'Charming Mikey'? was it? He was delicious

Dear Maureen,
Somebody will scream, not me, let me write these down quick before something happens to them.
I agree with Nicole Jordan and Sabrina Jeffries, I'm sure I read some of Hoyt. I just can't remember the names without looking on kindle.
Thank you thank you thank you
I love the title "NEVER A MISTRESS NO LONGER A MAID" Check

Dear Tealadytoo:
I did read this one, and I didn't like it. Something about the husband just didn't do it for me.
I tried something new and found 2 absolute gems from the same author;Kerrigan Byrnes
They are Berserkers, I don't know if you know what they are, I didn't but I am sooo glad I found out.
These are 2 novella's that I loved so much I checked out her web site. She really is brand new.
But in my tastes she's like a next generation, Kleypas,Garwood that type and class of writer. And as I have said in other threads, the next generation are always better, I think she is and have re-read both of the books already. Quite and utterly satisfying.
That should give you an idea of what I'm looking for
Please forgive my 'from brain to mouth' disease....BUT..these 2 are the reason my vibrator started on the fritz, the 'perverbial straw' was the BOUGHT AND PAID FOR by DEBRA GLASS
My neighbors I'm sure are thrilled

I was reading G.Aiken series this week - interesting! It's fantasy steamy romance as set in a fantasy world populated by shape-changing dragons, centaurs, humans etc... Was great and I will definitely be hunting for the rest of the series. Extremely spicy too.

Hi again, I haven't made the transition yet to futuristic. Not saying I won't just haven't yet.

To all:
Great list to start, my neighbors are just gonna be thrilled, I hope my new vibrator is a plug in so I can drive them nuts interferring with their tv.
Since I started this thread and some of you already know...I am a 30 year bartender (female) and a blue collar one at that. (ahh all my construction workers over the years,) so sometimes my comments come right out of the bar. IN ADVANCE I WILL APOLOGIZE IF I OFFEND YOU. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NEVER INTENDED it just 'comes outta the mouth' but on a real tip...I can tell ya what they do and talk about when with the other men.

As you like lisa keypas (I do) then we might agree on a few other authors perhaps.
But would you call that futuristic? It's more fantasy genre... As there's no tech or low tech, I reread your list requirements bf suggesting- not that I'm trying to force you to!
Oh what about Sandra Hill?! She's often vulgar and coarse but frequently hilarious. She does the whole time travel thing... That's paranormal I suppose?
