Can anyone can suggest a list (love lists) or a previous thread ? Big fan of contemporary but am reading "Devil's Pact" by Samantha Cruise which is really good. I have been carrying it sound with me (not a fan of the cover).

Search for the Shocking Sex Scenes thread which has over 2000 posts. While initial posts were more about shock value, the thread evolved to include all erotic romance.

There's also:

There is also specifically an 'Erotic Romance' forum.

Here's the link for the 'Erotica' forum, if you want to look there, also...

My favorite erotica/erotic romance authors are Megan Hart, Tymber Dalton (hit or miss sometimes), Cherise Sinclair, older Lora Leigh's...I'm sure there are more, but it's early, and those pop to mind.

I also like Sarah McCarty, Lisa Marie Rice, and Laurann Dohner, although all three have very different styles. Kitty Thomas is an excellent writer but her books are much edgier.

The Erotica forum is a bit more active than the Erotic Romance forum but both have helpful posters.
Here's a link to the Erotica forum's "free today" thread

Sorry, but that's NOT erotic romance. I first read it when I was 12. There's only extraordinarily vague references to sex.

On the other hand, it was a really sneaky way to introduce the fact that you are an author...

I like Charlotte Stein. I haven't read all her books but she's impressed me by having both credible H/h and also a plot. Most erotic romance seems to be just finding excuses for the hero and heroine to boink. Definitely not so with CS.
I was especially impressed by Deep Desires (Mischief Books) and Reawakening (Forever Dead Series, Book One)

I love anything Sophie Oak writes.

I agree. I actually want a story and the boinking seems logical.
(you gave me a good laugh)
I wanted to know if anyone had more rec. For erotic romance suspense
I love Shannon McKenna. Any others just emerging? I like Sandra brown's later work but wish there was more fireworks and fire power between H/h.

Sheltered by Charlotte Stein was so good. I haven't read the others Willread mentioned but I plan to check them out.

I had never heard of charlotte Stein. See how much book supervision some of us need?
Thank you everyone who has responded.; It is incredibly nice of you to take the time to help. Keeps me out of trouble.

LOL that is one of the great points about having a kindle. No covers to show.

There are many really good ones listed on this thread,

gay male erotica/fiction for the straight girl.

I've been hooked since happening on Touch Me Gently

With any type you have a few bad ones for every good. It's the only bad that comes with the invention of self published books, well that and self promos of self published books.

I really like Lauren Gallagher. Who's Your Daddy? All the King's Horses were both really good.

Also, Barabra Elsborg Strangers was excellent.

I third Charlotte Stein's books.
She has one of the best voices in erotic literature IMO.
Sheltered, Deep Desires, Addicted, Reawakening, Control. They're all amazing.
If you want to sample her writing try her short story Ever Unknown.
It's only 47 pages but so good. So Charlotte.

I have never read this genre but I will try almost anything (.. but I am not a vampire girl). Is this the first book you would suggest ?
I will definitely check out the thread. How did you find this? I never would have thought of it...Who knew?

I am in the middle of Sexual Persuasion and I am so impressed with this author. The characters are well developed and likable and the storyline in so intriguing.

I looked up Maryn Sinclair and found her other book , The EscortThe Escort and it looks really good. Thought you might like it too. Thanks for the new author recommendation. These both look really good
