Welcome to March! This is day 60 of the year - how weird is that!

What is everyone reading this weekend?

I am working on Thread of Fear (I started reading one of her other series and I realized that I needed to read this one because of reoccurring characters)

Also hoping to start Out of The Easy (Ruta Sepytas) and Sanctum (Guards of the Shadowlands) (Sarah Fine)

On the ipod, I am listening to The Witness

I'm hoping to finally sink into Robb's Calculated in Death; it's been calling my name since Tuesday, but I just didn't dare because I didn't have the time in one big lump. After that, I want to reread Firelight by Callihan. I just read Moonglow, loved it, Winter Breeze is available, but I need to refresh some details. It does help with this series to read in order, and Firelight was over a year ago. She's moved to my pre-order list! Everyone enjoy the weekend! Hooray, it's MARCH!

I'm at a conference this weekend, so I may not get much in, but I'm reading the romance What I Did For a Duke: Pennyroyal Green Series, by Julie Ann Long, the mystery by Jane Cleland, Dolled Up for Murder (Josie Prescott Antiques Mysteries), and Esther Forbes' Johnny Tremain.

I have been recommending What I Did For a Duke: Pennyroyal Green Series as much as possible. It's probably my favorite book from last year.

I'm planning to (finally) read Teresa Medeiros' latest work: The Temptation of Your Touch. Medeiros can really do no wrong...love her!

read4fun...I hope you enjoy Red Roses Mean Love...that's one of my favorite historicals. Great book!

For some crazy reason, after re-reading tons of Julie Garwood historicals last week, and LOVING the JAK book All Night Long, I am in the mood to re-read...Wild Card!!!! Ha! That book is wack but every once in a while I re-read it for fun.

My favorite line: "You taste like the sweetest candy, baby."

Hee hee!

Happy Weekend to all,
NRB/Penny

just finished reading Thread of Fear - it was more on the romance side, than the suspense side, but not bad...I had a few irks that will go up in my review, but i am planning on reading the next one in the series

i finished "the angel makers". it was really well written and an interesting subject. i'm not sure i would read it again, but i definitely don't regret reading it. also finished "desert hostage". it was definitely an older book.

also finished Whisper of Warning - so now I can start the Tracer series by the same author and hopefully not be confused (the pairing from the first book in that series meet in Whisper of Warning)

Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale. I love this book. It is the first book I am reading by her and it won't be the last. Recommendations which to read next? Are they all good?

All Kinsale is good most, are great. My favorites along with FFTS are Seize the Fire, For My Lady's Heart, Prince of Midnight, Uncertain Magic
