Angela, I just bought The Lawson Boys: Marty. Have not yet read it but I am loving the cover. HOT! Also, I am not at all familiar with the editing process. So my a timeline might have been a little off. Anyway, thanks for writing. I can't wait to start reading

Yay! We have a new book to loose ourselves in. Thanks Angie...can't wait to dig in.

I discovered a new series (new to me, anyway) that I'm loving. Not plus size, and I would describe them as romantic suspense novels. Julia Spencer-Fleming is the author, and the first title is "In the Bleak Midwinter".
No sex scenes, but an interesting premise: Shes an Episcopalian priest and hes a small town police chief who is married. The over-arching theme is how to remain true to their moral compass, even though they are strongly attracted to one another. If you're looking for a great series to read this winter (or summer, if you live anywhere close to Angie!), I recommend this one.

The Lawson Boys: Marty was absolutely fantastic. Marty was incredible. He is a sweet, caring, teasing, gorgeous alpha male. He knows what wants and goes for it. I can see how fun he was to write. Belle is strong, firey, and quick witted. I found myself gushing over all the characters. I want Mr and Mrs. Lawson to adopt me. I actually did not want this book to end. Great job,A.M.

I loved the book. The Lawson Boys: Marty. It was great how he fell in love. I hope you write Alan's book. He seems to be more of a player than any of the other guys.

That's exactly what I was thinking Geri. Alan needs a sassy woman he really has to chase after. Someone who gives as good as she gets. He's a bad boy that needs some serious taming!

You just keep getting better, Angie. I have a question about taxis, though. Do people routinely take cabs from one city to another? There was a reference about that in this book, although the h actually flew to her home city. Cabs in the US are quite expensive, and to take one from one town to the next would put most Americans in the poor house. But, your characters often use taxis. Is the usage of cabs in Australia different than in the US, or maybe the fares are much lower?

I have to chuckle over the taxi ride distance. I've lived in Fairbanks Alaska for 9 years up until this June, and now live in Washington state again. Anyway, my DH and I had to take a taxi a couple of years ago from Fairbanks the city to our home 38 miles north Fairbanks on top of a mountain because the transmission decided it was going to break while we were doing our shopping in town. I about had a stroke when found out the cost. Thank goodness the taxi company sent a driver with his own taxi to pick us up. A very good thing indeed. The driver lived on the same mountain we did. Bless her heart she was on her way home, and she only charged us 10 dollars as we lived 4 miles above her home. It would have cost us 100 dollars! I know that's not much to some, but living in Alaska has its disadvantages as everything has a added price due to gas prices there.
The drive from Fairbanks to Anchorage is a 7 hour drive, and not one we did but just a couple of times.
Angela, the distance is mind boggling...lol. I'm with you...I strained my brain pan....lol

I liked it. I like all the books in the freakn' series and this recent one was interesting to read because the heroine is human and knows nothing of the shifter world, unlike the the other previous books where the heroines were shifters.

On the kindle, the location is 1470, and the sentence begins "Getting a taxi home was one option, but she really didn't feel like being scrutinzed..."

I see now I read it wrong. You meant taking a cab home from the airport after she flew to her home city. Oops! Sorry for causing you any heart attacks or anything!

I do have another question, though. What does "cupisence" mean? I can't find it in any of my dictionaries. Thanks!

OMG I am soo excited to see an author from Perth!! I stumbled on this thread because I saw the Eve Langlais book (Freakin Human or something) and want to try some more Plus Size Reads (hate that term too). I am actually in Perth and just to go from one suburb to the airport alone is about $50! A. M. Verdenius I am definitely going to look up your books!

I just finished His Possession (The Owners) and the h is plus size in this book. It really enjoyed it, the H is very possessive, and very much the alpha male.
