Yes, Andrew, which is why they should be stopped. If everyone who bought a bad book asked for their money back the bad writers would either :
(1) Realise their work was poor and try and improve. (2) Give up.

It's unfortunate, but true, that some writers think their work is wonderful and are deeply shocked when they get bad reviews or returns.

It usually only takes me a few seconds to decide I don't want to buy a book when I read the sample. Sometimes the first line is so bad, I click off them and go to another one. I also never read reviews.

I LOVE Tigger! I dressed my youngest up in a Tigger costume when he was 2. He was adorable, but my husband was't too happy.

Morning! Just starting my second cup of coffee. I may be able to function soon.

I wonder what the DVF has against coffee?

Probably cuz we're not sharing.

I think the DVF prefers vodka, with a straw. Cause after 70+ pages and many months worth of postings, the DVF still hasn't a clue that she will not stop this thread from being bumped.

Can't help with the vodka, for the time being, it's chamomile tea as a night cap. Also helps with digesting today's train wrecks.

I have an upcoming 2 or 3 star review for a self published author so we'll see how much crap I get for it. Ive read enough of the BBA thread to be worried about it.

Don't be. I have never been trashed for a negative review - or at least not over the longterm. I've picked up a few negs and the occasional comment, but if you write a good negative comment it works.

Most authors *aren't* BBAs.

Lol if 5% of authors are BBAs, my luck isn't good enough to get one of the 95%.

Hahahaha!!! Who's the author?

Just thought it might be an author I've heard of, but it isn't.

Go ahead with your review. Live dangerously! ;)

Way back on page 3!

Night all. Can't wait to see the 5 billion posts I'll have missed overnight. :) Be strong!

After another entertaining day on Amazon Fora, I grab my cup of chamomile tea and go to sit outside for a little bit and then to sleep. Good Night All! Hopefully, Janet greets us with coffee in the morning.

Coffee time! This morning it's freshly ground, dark roasted Sumatra beans accompanied by warmed half & half. Enjoy, y'all.

I think we should all agree not to feed the psychotic trolls. They have a posse or 7 or 8, but honestly, I think they're mostly socks that we've discussed previously. So, maybe there's only 2-3...

BTW, I'm off to make a second strong pot of coffee to get through the day. Garage door opener busted and now I'm waiting for the technician. Gahhh!
