Okay ladies, I took it upon myself to start another discussion. I, however, hate how Amazon has changed things and will still use GR, but I can't get on GR at work so here you go.........

Grrr. . . . . I ran over the "capitalized-character limit" and it is not as visible.

"The List" that was spawned by the popular Don't Shoot Me Thread :

DON'T SHOOT ME!! Looking for Cheating Hero #1 Thread (March 2010-May 2011)

Who had the last post? Shouldn't there have been balloons and champagne/sparkling apple cider or something? Amazon really blew it on that one, IMHO. They should have upped the max especially considering how much moola they've made from this board from me alone!

If you bookmark the original thread you can still have access to it (otherwise you"ll have trouble searching for it) you just won't be able to post. We did this over in the ER forum. We are on our second thread :)

I second that Book Fiend. I have to get a second job because of the money I have spent from this board. ha ha :)

M. Nix was the last poster!!!!

All these arbitrary Amazon rules - and why won't they allow people to edit the freakin titles. :P

BL #1, in your first post could you add a link to page one of Don't Shoot #1 as well as The List? (I'd suggest a link to GR but Amazon doesn't like outside links :P) That way people will always be able to find it to search. Even when topics role off after the visible 1023 topics they still remain as links and search topics.

Posted on May 21, 2011, 10:08:47 AM PDT
I tried to go back in and edit the title to make it somewhat more "eye-catching", but couldn't do it.

I would love to do that P, but I don't know how. Give me very simple (ha ha) instructions and I will be glad to do so.

Also, I added DON'T SHOOT ME and don't shoot me to my favorites list on my computer and it takes me to them everytime.

Just something a little funny, Chele pointed out that I was 9999 and M. Nix was 10,000. How funny that I was the first and almost the last.

Wow, that was quick. Didn't realize we had reached the limit until it didn't accept my post. Thanks, Book Lover#1,
for getting us going again.

Thanks for explaining friending. GR seems intimidating in comparison to just reading the Don't Shoot posts everyday, but I'll explore it. I think friending with people I know will be okay, it's just that I'm so socially inept and shy, that the 'stranger' thing intimidated me.
The Poster With No Name

You're not the only one. I'm more of a lurker, essentially a quiet person with a boring kind of life. GR lets us restrict to people we know, so maybe we can do better with our Don't Shoot friends at GR.

That the heroine doesn't take back the cheating hero.
I've never read by this author but WoW... I'm going for this one !

Thank you so much for the Looong spoiler :)

Ophelia: You're welcome!

Music Box Dancer:

I got a little carried away with the description :) I really think you will like it. A Good Yarn and A Turn In The Road were my first books by her and won't be my last.

Book Lover #1-yup, I was curious to see who would be the 10,000 poster so I looked it up right away. Like I mentioned over at the GR site, it was truly fitting that you were almost the last poster :) Thanks for don't shoot me part 2. I would have had withdrawals without my daily fix!

M Nix-congratulations on being the last poster! I think that will go down in history Lol! Because I don't recall seeing you on the boards lately, it was a good reminder for me to request you as a GR friend. Thanks for friending me :)

I just finished "Maid for love by Marie Force"..... It's a winner ladies :) No cheating in it but the 2nd book due out on June 1st "Fool for love" has Janie walking in on her fiance and another woman going at it. The blurb in the back of the book made it sound as good as Maid for love :)

TrishaLouise I looked up Fool for love and could not find it in amazon

Fool for Love (June 1, 2011)
The McCarthys of Gansett Island, Book 2

Joe Cantrell, owner of the Gansett Island Ferry Company, has been in love with Janey McCarthy for as long as he can remember. At the same time, Janey has been dating or engaged to doctor-in-training David Lawrence. When things go horribly wrong between David and Janey, she calls her "fifth brother" Joe, one of the few people in her close circle who lives on the mainland. Janey decides a few days with Joe is just what she needs before she goes home to the island to face her parents and family with the news of her broken engagement. It was bad enough for Joe loving Janey from afar, but having her in his house is pure torture. Will he take advantage of this opportunity to show her what they could have together? And what will Joe's best friend and Janey's protective older brother Mac have to say about it?
