Cphe: A couple of suggestions for you.

Mike Knowles: His protagonist, Wilson, is a bad guy who happens to do good things on occasion.

Mark DeCastrique: His protagonist is an ex cop, now a funeral director, whose best friend is a cop, so he gets involved in some investigations.

I've probably mentioned these authors in other threads. With so many threads it's hard to remember what and where I've written about them in the past.

@Cphe: I hope you enjoy DeCastrique's writing and character development as much as I did.

Hello, I'm new here, so thanx for the opportunity to post!
I just read a new thriller author--Norene Moskalski. She wrote Nocturne, Opus 1: Sea Foam, an excellent international thriller. Hope you like it!

@Cphe: It's always nice to enjoy a book and an author's style of writing.

@Cphe: Another author I have mentioned in another thread is Brendan DuBois. His Lewis Cole series is very good. I do recommend that it be read in sequence as Cole's backstory is related in the first book, Dead Sand, and is very important to understanding Cole's character.

@Cphe: I haven't read Plains of Deception, but if you can access Tales From The Dark Snow down there, I highly recommend that collection of short stories.

Thanks for the update, Cphe. I will put it on my short list of 'To Buy' Kindle downloads.

@Cphe: Thanks for the Christmas wish. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours, as well.

I'll take a look for the new thread. Thanks.

Thanks for the recommendation, J.D. I'd never come across De Castrique before and he looks like an author I'd enjoy. Best of all, one of his Kindle books is currently free for US customers: Blackman's Coffin: A Sam Backman Mystery (Sam Blackman Series Book 1)

I also have a couple of recommendations for authors, Claude Bouchard and G. M. Ford. Neither are exactly unknowns but both are excellent and deserve a wider audience. Here are links to their Amazon Author Pages and their books:

@Cphe: I certainly will do that.
