W. GANG says:
I know there are some turnouts made by Learning Curve and other third companies that could be used on wooden railways, but for a battery operated engine, there is no way to switch the turnout direction?

Further question, does battery operated engines work well on curves? Is it possible to turn over?

Thank you for your replies

Thomas & Friends- Action Switch Track-2pcs.

One of these switches is included in Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway - Figure 8 Set Expansion Pack The Action Switch Tower also works, but it's been retired. Just look for switches with the red piece in the middle.

As for curves, the 6 inch curves work better than the smaller curves. The Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway - Battery Powered Jet Engine With Thomas doesn't handle curves that well and usually results in derailments.
