Trying to ID an artist

Hi. It looks like a lot of people have their ear to the ground here, while drum & bass is likely my main genre I tend to like trip hop a lot as well - ie. Archive's Londinium and Controlling Crowds, Massive Attack's LPs, Tricky's solo stuff, Heligoland was a pleasant surprise as well.

There was a song I heard recently on a radio station, usually a news channel but one where whoever likes to drop songs for station changes seems like they're really well dialed in on this genre. I heard something that had a female vocalist, flowed a lot like Paradise Circus, maybe sounded a bit like Hope Sandoval singing but it was bandpassed-out to sound lofi (lyrical style and ideas were very similar). The most noticeable thing was it had a lot of rain and static in the background, kind of like they were taking some tips from Burial's production. Any guesses?
