M. McFly says:
Seriously i have never seen an advertisement for a Wii U. Am i clearly not the target audience or is there zero promotion on this thing?

Do you live in a "Developing country"? It sometimes takes a bit longer for Hardware developers to penetrate those markets.

JWK says:
It comes out in 2012. I can't remember the exact date so you may want to check on that before you type it into your DeLorean.

They probably should consider a relaunch when they have some games to offer.

Wraith says:
They've been rotting since day one, I think some stores have been keeping them in their refrigeration units in the back to ward off some of the mold.

As soon as they have a game to promote, you'll see some commercials.

Yeah, cause that's where all the kids stuff goes, right? Like Star Wars and Marvel.

Nightmare says:
I haven't seen any commercials for any system in a VERY long time. I don't watch much TV though, so that might have something to do with it. But I do remember seeing commercials for Monster Hunter Tri before it came out. As much as I love the game, the commercials were pretty bad, IMO.

I honestly have I think only seen one Wii U commercial since launch. I do agree they are really failing at promoting this thing. Nintendo seems to be copying the PS3's launch. Remember those weird launch commercials where you couldn't even tell what they were promoting? It was sort of like "uh was that a new Sony DVD player or something?".

Nintendo instead apparently thinks if they make their commercials rare and hard to come by, people will want to see them more.

Gameresq says:
If not for buyers like me who purchase these launch consoles at inflated prices, game companies would not be able to generate sufficient profits to offset the low prices that wiser, more patient buyers ultimately pay. You're welcome.

That Emu Kid says:
I've seen a bunch that showcase NSMB, but that's it. They don't seem to be marketing it to anyone besides the Mario crowd.
