I only watch these two each year..."It's a Wonderful Life" and "Nightmare Before Christmas"...two of my all time fav movies.

I may end up watching "A Christmas Story"..depends how the football games go....Also I just (finally) got Batman AA and that is calling my name for the weekend also.

Voice of god says:
Realistically, probably the only Christmas film I'll be watching is some kind of pornography I stumble across on Redtube featuring people in Santa hats.

Unless you count "Fireplace for Your Home" (available on Netflix). I watched that for like 20 minutes the other day.

You watch porn on Christmas?

Marvelous says:
I probably couldn't do that, even if I wanted to.

Voice of god says:
I certainly watch it during the Christmas season, because the Christmas season is like three months long.

And what's wrong with watching porn on Christmas? If that's how I choose to spend time with my family, then what business is it of yours?

Marvelous says:
I find it entertaining that you say it's none of our business yet YOU are the one to bring it up in the first place - ahh the irony.

Well as long as you are including the family...

Elf
Home Alone
Die Hard
It's A Wonderful Life
A Christmas Carol (1938 version)

Alternative selections:

Black Christmas [Blu-ray]
John Waters' Female Trouble

Female Trouble, a cult favorite, is not a Christmas movie per se, but does have a very funny Christmas scene.

Gremlins

Sounds interesting, but is it dubbed?

Anyone seen Santa's Slay, starring Goldberg? Never mind.

That's been in my Netflix queue for a while. I just like the idea that they cast a Jewish wrestler as Santa.

Whenever I'm playing Die Hard on the TV on Christmas and people ask me "don't you have any Christmas movies?", I always reply "man, this IS a Christmas movie!"
Ironically, they never seem to get the reference.

I've tried to watch the Hogfather twice now on Netflix and keep missing big pieces of it by not paying attention. I'm a fan of the Discworld series, and it seems interesting, but I just can't seem to get invested in those darn movies.

A customer says:
I can't tell if you're joking. In the event that you aren't:
In the beginning of the movie when John McClane is riding in the Limo, Argyle, the driver, puts on a hip-hop cassete. John asks "don't you have any Christmas music", to which Argyle replies "man, this IS Christmas music!" Then, in the song, a man raps about encountering Santa Claus. The end.
