Every time I electrocute protestors in Infamous 2, I'm going to pretend they are WBC members.

Freedom of speech and expression is one thing, but there are lines that exist to limit it. You can't incite a riot and not be held responsible for it's outcome. Burning a flag as protest is offensive to me, but it does nobody any harm. Yelling or brandishing offensive things at a funeral does do harm.

It's still funny to watch people lose their minds.

Wow, really sorry if you knew anyone directly impacted by this mess, dood. The WBC represents everything that is wrong with organized religion, they are just despicable.

Beau says:
Actually, that's untrue.

The scripture you're referring to is 1 Thessalonians 5:2 and it says the "day of the Lord" will come as a thief in the night, not the "end of days."

This is very true, People tend to think of Harm as Physical only, ignoring that Mental harm can be FAR more powerful and painful.

Is this the one where Obama will address any issue that gets over 25,000 signatures?
They're already over 200,000. I hope they lose their "church" status fast. Hopefully even retroactively, although I doubt that would happen.

Thankfully, I did not know anyone who was directly affected by the incident. However Dec 14th is my Mom's birthday, and she helps run the Hospital that all the victims went to, so it was a very very hard day on her. Needless to say she was very happy to see me that night when I visited for her Birthday Dinner.

"But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape."

The day of the lord is the beginning of the biblical apocalypse...I'm sorry if you misinterpreted my previous comment. I was referring to the fact that no announced starting date can be viable seeing as how the beginning of the apocalypse is meant to be unbeknownst to Christians.

Yeah, they already have the required number of signatures but the more signatures there are over the required number the more it sort of hammers the point.

EDIT: Just noticed that they have more than 200,000 more signatures than needed. Way to go human decency!

But the Swarzeneggar movie was called "End of Days" not "Thief in the Night"

That just sounds like a cheesy porno.

Me too, but I think it hit my Sister the hardest, she was in tears. She has a lot of friends who have kids about that age, some of them that still live in Newtown. Thankfully though those kids were attending one of the other 3 elementary schools in Newtown.
