I must be thinking about another thread with somewhat similar circumstances. I know there was a broken disc and a GameStop return.

Ahh, yes, I remember this too now that you mention it.

Did you notice the "OT" tag?

Ice King says:
Yeah, it's pretty scummy if the buy something knowing that they're going to return it.
But if they buy it and wear it then decide they don't like it for whatever reason that's ok.

I worked in a department store once and some people treat those places like a clothing rental service. I had one guy bring in a pair of slippers that had clearly been worn for a long time, probably even outside (they were those mocassins style ones), without a receipt and demanded a full refund because he decided he didn't like them.
And of course, since he was being a huge a-hole, management caved and he got his refund to buy a new pair that he tried returning a few years later.

That was me. I never went through with it. He hasn't mentioned it again.

"Speaking of which, did you ever see the bottom part of a woman's bikini? They have some kind of anti-microbial patch on there so that no vag gunk gets on it. I nearly threw up when I saw that for the first time."

What, the patch or vag gunk?

McAwesomeo says:
Yeah, as I previously mentioned the poster (you) was opposed to the idea.

Him says:
I only return condoms when they rip.

The Drizzle says:
i have a lot of trouble rolling up the condoms when complete, they always question if they were used when i go to return them. what is your method?

Posted on Nov 21, 2012, 9:27:53 AM PST
Him says:
Stick them on a banana and re-roll them. The banana is sticky enough to hold it in place as you try to roll it, but not too sticky to screw you up.

Ice King says:
Your hookers don't bring their own condoms? I've always seen that a professional courtesy, like a car dealership giving you coffee and donuts.

Him says:
My hookers prefer skin on skin. So, they're not my hookers anymore.

Jacob Wunder says:
Yes i agree. A lot of people dont think twice about scamming/cheating sellers.

You see that attitude sometimes on this forum, and it annoys me. Cant really blame companies that are strict about returns and such when you see how many people are willong to take advantage.

JWK says:
"Gamestop rentals" are the policy of... wait for it... Gamestop. They do it, because they know it makes buying used games look more attractive. And they use that to their advantage; they make their highest margin of profit off used sales. I didn't even know the "rental" existed until store employees started telling me about it; "Now you can bring this game back within 7 days for a full refund for any reason--even if it's just that you don't like the game." So yeah, I do the rental thing every once in a while. It's good for me and it's good for the store who implemented the policy. Don't like it? Tell Gamestop to change their policy.

"My hookers prefer skin on skin. So, they're not my hookers anymore."

I read this as: I wear a skin-suit made of dead hookers.

YIGT says:
Ive done this at blockbuster before. Bought a game it was messed up rented the game and returned the messed up disc and told them it was like that when I rented it this morning and they gave me a free rental for it. I felt so wrong after that but I got my game back.

So you can live with being a thieving, unethical person.

Chewy5431 says:
Is it "soooo" wrong to buy homeowners insurance the day after your house burns down? Or to buy car insurance right after your car gets totaled? How about taking out a million dollar life insurance policy on someone that just died? (assuming an agent doesn't actually look at property or car or person before issuing the policy)

Exact same result right?

I guess it's not stealing if it's just a $60 video game though right?
