A customer says:
"Wii U specs.

Wii U launch lineup"

Agreed with these,

I would like to add Assassin's Creed 3.

It just felt generic to me. I do, however, like it more than the original NSMB on DS. Didn't care much for that game. It's always enjoyable to play as Mario, but I felt Nintendo somewhat phoned both games in. I thought NSMB Wii was good and I hear NSMBU is the best in the sub-series.

You aren't the first I've heard that was disappointed with AC3. Might I ask what was disappointing? (I haven't played it and probably won't i'm just curious)

If you like the series you'd probably like Assassin's Creed 3.

If you don't it probably wont change your mind.

So... just about every game released on both Xbox and PS3 accept for Halo?

Same here. I've never played an AC game before, but I know it has a huge fan base. Up until the release of AC III everyone was singing the praises of the franchise then after the release of AC III it's been crickets. I'd like to know what happened too.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 3, 2012, 8:07:38 AM PST
I don't dislike the series, but it hasn't really changed all that much over the years and I found it to be just OK the first time and a tiny bit better the second time.

Probably because you're just as more confused as ever while leaving the door open to Assassin's Creed 3: Reflections and Assasin's Creed 3: Brothers in Hoods.

Well Assassin's Creed 3 didn't change much either.

Personally I thought it was the best one yet in most aspects.

Basically people thought it would be the second coming of christ, but it was just a really great game that was similar to the last games. Subtle improvements and minor glitches during the first couple weeks. The game is amazing, and I love it.

Not sure I understand what you are saying mate.

"Well Assassin's Creed 3 didn't change much either."

That's a shame, but perhaps it's why folks are getting tired of it? Of course Call of Duty disproves my theory year after year of the same game won't sell... (Note I'm not against CoD, but I don't think it needs an annual release!)

Uncharted 2 doesn't live up to the Metascore?

I get the comment if the game was Halo 3 or GTAIV, but UC2?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 3, 2012, 8:12:38 AM PST
I loved RE5, played it at least 15 times start to finish. RE6 is not even half the game RE5 is.

I know that. I just don't care. And there are far more than 10 million that disagree with me annually. That's just the CoD Crowd. Add another 5 or so million from the Halo crowd (Accounting for crossover) another million or 2 fromt he Diablo 3 Crowd, another million or 2 from the SC2 Crowd... it adds up.

I thought RE5 wasn't that good.

Cool. I'm a big history buff so I was intrigued by the story being set to the backdrop of the War for Independence, maybe I'll try it out one of these days. It just seems so...violent.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 3, 2012, 8:14:49 AM PST
Halo 3 lived up to it's Metascore at the time, UC2 is a 90/100 game. Still great, but once this gen is over and Sony makes a new IP to replace it, it will be completely forgotten. Just like GTAIV or SMG. To be a 95 or better game, it should be something that will always be remembered, like FFVII or Ocarina of time. Compared to the impact those games had on the industry, Uncharted 2 is small potatoes.

I'll play it eventually.

None yet - I just hit the safe house and began bombing around there.

I just have this funny feeling it's an open world mission based game which honestly isn't really my thing. But I have LOTS of game left to play so I could easily change my opinion as right now it's just a kind of "vibe" I'm getting.

Also, haven't yet played RE6 and why I'm not mentioning it. Prolly by the time I get to it I'll be perfectly happy with it as my expectation will be pretty low.

FOGE says:
The history in it is fantastic. Im really enjoying it as many missions take place during famous events like Paul Revere's midnight ride and the Boston Massacre. I recommend it. It is quite violent. Lot of stabbing and what not. Thats par for the course for Assassins Creed.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 3, 2012, 8:17:22 AM PST
Get RE6 at about $15 - 20 and you should be happy.

LBP Karting, Star Hawk Twisted Metal and Battle Royal Metascore? What goes around comes around? Metascores are childish. Who cares? :)

For my serious post I'd have to go with RE6. It used to be one of my favorite franchises, it just isn't anymore which is sad. Capcom has died in my book. :(

Happy holidays.
