Let me guess, he doesn't like it.

He thinks that the combat is fun, but like previous Metal Gear games, he's not a fan of the writing. He finds it a little jarring that they couple serious themes with over the top presentation and humor. He also doesn't like Raiden because he's not as human as Solid Snake. He also feels like the learning curve concerning the parrying system is too steep.

I love Yahtzee, that charismatic stallion.

Same here, even though I don't always agree with him.

As much as I agree with his opinion on the narrative in Metal Gear games, I don't really care for Yahtzee's style.

Going after platinum for bad story? I hate the sun for being bright.

LOL, right? The stories in Platinum's games are a means to an end, nothing more.

The worst part? I don't want to skip a cutscene just in case I miss something. What the hell is wrong with me?

I never skip them either. They're fun to watch, even if they're bad.

Exactly.

He's hilarious. Even if I don't agree with him (e.g. his Ni No Kuni "review"), it's just funny to watch.
